Our Latest Additions: Spring 2022 New Homes

We’re excited to share our latest additions in our featured homes series. In this Spring edition, we cover some of our top picks of the season. Don’t miss these single-family spaces in three of our favorite cities.

Airy Four-Bedroom Apartment in Los Angeles

660 N. Oxford St. Unit 202, Los Angeles, CA

The home

Right away, the exposed concrete accents and metal paneling bring modern and industrial vibes to this spacious four-bedroom apartment in L.A. The living room is bright and cozy and opens onto one of three(!) private balconies—we can imagine morning coffee, family dinners, or curling up with a book. Each of the bedrooms offers comfort and privacy, though it’s just as easy to let the sun shine through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a bathroom for every room (two are en-suite), which isn’t something you’ll find everywhere. But what really makes it feel like home are the building’s amenities. From the comfortable two-story community lounge to the rooftop terrace, there are endless options if you want a change of scenery.

The neighborhood

There’s lots to see in Central Los Angeles. Melrose Ave, one of L.A.’s main arteries, offers easy access to everything from famous Hollywood sites to mom-and-pop restaurants. Whether you’re sight-seeing at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery or Paramount Studios, enjoying the nightlife at boutique hotel bars and local dives, or grabbing a meal at one of the dozens of restaurants along Melrose, this walkable, diverse neighborhood delivers the L.A. experience.

Charming Two-Bedroom Apartment in Fort Lauderdale

410 SE 16th Ct, Fort Lauderdale, FL

The home

Expansive windows, wood floors, and tall ceilings give this modern two-bedroom apartment an airy feel. Our designers selected bold art pieces, stylish (but comfortable) furniture, pops of color, and mixed materials to create a warm, elegant space. The kitchen is a chef’s dream—all new appliances, tons of cabinet space, and a massive island for preparing and sharing meals. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and the primary bedroom has a door onto a terrace.

The amenities in this complex are truly impressive: the pool and huge outdoor kitchen are perfect for hosting friends and family, and the sundeck is an ideal spot for weekend lounging. Inside, there are even more cozy spaces for relaxing or working from home, like the clubhouse and the business center. The building also features a massive fitness center, yoga studio included. Plus, there’s an adorable pet spa (furry friends are welcome here!). This brand-new complex is home to Whole Foods on the ground floor, making grocery shopping a breeze.

The neighborhood

Poinciana Park is a special kind of place—it has an easy-going vibe though there are plenty of things to see, like the Museum of Science and Discovery and The Wharf (imagine food trucks, dancing, and cocktails on the Las Olas Riverfront). This neighborhood is walkable, too; local restaurants and shops are minutes from home, and 17th St will take you straight to the beach.

Beautiful Three-Bedroom Townhouse in Alexandria

5671 Harrington Falls Ln, Alexandria, VA

The home

Simply put, this home is a stunner. Airy, elegant, and open, this three-bedroom townhouse in Alexandria is one of our favorite homes of the year so far. The main living area is designed in soothing, cream neutrals, with a truly original graphic accent wall. Our designers added pieces like crystal chandeliers, a stately desk, a classic gold bar cart, and a natural wood coffee table to make the space feel curated and special. Large windows and a balcony off the kitchen (and second dining space!) provide tons of light. We probably wouldn’t leave the first floor if we lived here, but if we must, the vibes continue upstairs in three bedrooms, all with plenty of closet space.

The neighborhood

Alexandria isn’t just a suburb of Washington, D.C.—this area has a personality of its own. It’s quiet here; even though the city is so close, the nearby parks (like Bren Mar Park and Backlick Run) and peaceful neighborhoods provide a calming atmosphere. Restaurants and shops (Starbucks included) are a short drive away, however, and D.C. attractions like Downtown and the Smithsonian Museums are just 15 minutes from home.
