Spacious Three-Bedroom Home in Oakland

832 E 21st St, Oakland, CA

The home

From the hardwood floors to exposed ceiling beams, this three-bedroom Oakland home brings the charm. Right away, you’re greeted with rich colors in the living room and natural light that warms the whole home. It’s a space worth sharing with family and friends—entertaining around the kitchen island, gathering in the dining room for a meal, or relaxing in the living room.

The three bedrooms upstairs are all spacious, and there are two bathrooms (one en-suite with the primary bedroom). But what really takes the cake at this home is the outdoor space. Take your pick between the upstairs balcony (more privacy), front porch (say hi to the neighbors), or back patio and huge backyard (room to spread out).

The neighborhood

There are three words to describe Oakland’s Ivy Hill neighborhood: friendly, quiet, and diverse. It’s a laid-back community where neighbors wave hello and bike rides are encouraged. There are enough restaurants to visit somewhere new each week, but what locals really love about the area is its walkability (the farmers market and a few other local grocery stores are close by) and proximity to Lake Merritt, a great spot to visit for people-watching, morning jogs, or catching up with friends.

Charming Row House in Philadelphia

1631 S 23rd St, Philadelphia, PA

The home

We’ve found the perfect blend of modern and historic design in this two-bedroom row house. With an open floor plan that flows from the living room to the kitchen, this space is comfortable and convenient. We’re already imagining the intimate family dinners to be had in the dining area and the cozy evenings out on the patio (it’s just off the kitchen).

Some might call the staircase (and its uniquely crafted railing) the centerpiece of the home. It leads to two bedrooms upstairs, one with bay-window seating and the other with a workstation for those WFH days. Whether entertaining or winding down, this home can accommodate it all—gather in the basement for games, thumb through pages in the reading nook, or curl up on the living room couch.

The neighborhood

Tucked in Point Breeze, this home is only steps away from the hustle and bustle of South Philly. The neighborhood is diverse, ever-growing, and anchored with new food spots, coffee shops, and bars for nightlife lovers.

Get a taste of the city at a local restaurant, shop for groceries, or buy something new all in one swoop and within walking distance. Hop on Interstate 76 or 95 (both nearby) to explore more of Philadelphia or take the Broad Street Line for window-seat views of the neighborhood.

Cozy Mid-century Modern Home in Bellevue

10923 NE 26th Pl, Bellevue, WA

The home

This four-bedroom home in Bellevue gives cozy vibes right away. Situated on a spacious lot lined with tall trees, this home is great for privacy, family time, or a much-needed getaway. Enjoy nature views from the wrap-around deck or through the living room’s floor-to-ceiling windows.

The kitchen is a show-stopper (we’re imagining cocktail hours and brunch around the marble island), and the four bedrooms are comfortable with a just-right amount of storage. The lower level is where the fun happens—we’re sure many evenings will end with an impromptu game of pool.

The neighborhood

Although many of the shops and grocery stores in the area aren’t within walking distance, this home’s easy access to highways 520 and 405 makes getting around town convenient. We love this neighborhood for its quiet charm and surrounding parks. It’s the perfect place for relaxing and taking in those unmatched Washington views. Downton Bellevue is a quick drive away—catch a movie, shop, or meet up with friends at a local hangout.
