The Zeus Home Spotlight series features some of our favorite homes that make both living and renting easy. At the top of our list is this spacious one-bedroom condo in Marina del Rey.
Walking in the door, you’ll get loft vibes right away. The huge common area features an open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed ductwork and pillars. The natural light and pops of color give the space a bright and airy feeling. It’s a space you’ll want to invite friends over to, and it’s perfect for hosting. Karen Gomez, from Passports in Photos, loved the home for its privacy and wrote about her stay here.
Even if you’re not vacationing, this home will make you feel like you’re on a retreat. The building's pool and outdoor lounge areas are also very private and give that much extra space. While this home is perfect for one person or a couple, there’s a great two-bedroom option in the same building if you need to spread out.
Follow the palm trees to find all the nearby essentials, including a grocery store, a movie theater, and plenty of restaurants. The marina—the largest man-made marina in the U.S., and the neighborhood’s defining feature— is a few minutes away (boating or kayaking awaits for the adventurous), and the Villa Marina Marketplace Mall is across the street.
While Venice and Culver City (both close by) are known for their restaurants, Marina del Rey isn’t without gems. End the day with dinner at Salt for the area’s best outdoor seating, or check out The Warehouse for a little more character.
